HP30 Class Update - March 2016

7TH MARCH, 2016

HP30 Class taking shape, with eight teams now preparing for the first race season.

The HP30 Class is really beginning to take shape, with eight teams now preparing for the first race season.  Current boats committed to take part in the inaugural season, include: C&C30, FarEast28’s, Farr280’s, Farr30’s, K8, Open 7.5, a Seascape 27 and a recent enquiry from the X-Treme 26.  With this size of boat increasingly popular amongst competitive racers, the fleet is expected to grow as quickly as the larger Fast40's did last winter.

Class starts have now been organised at a number of high profile events and yacht clubs and organisers are beginning to adopt the rule, with Poole Regatta being the most recent event to propose a start for the HP30's.
